The first twelve of the following books are for both scholars and general readers; I hold the unconventional opinion that a scholar's books should not be written only for other scholars. The Commentary on Thomas Aquinas's Treatise on Law comes with a free online partner volume, the Companion to the Commentary, which is not shown below, but which you can download from this website or download from Cambridge University Press).
